Case file found in a recently disused courthouse on the French/Italian border near Ventimiglia. It was being used, apparently, to stop a kitchen table from rocking.

Considering it was used to stablilize a kitchen table, and then mouldered in a courthouse for who knows how long, it’s in remarkably good shape. Even the binding seems intact!
Oh, it wasn’t a mouldy place, and only recently shut down.
